Welcome to Bowmen of Petersfield
We are a friendly and enthusiastic target archery club based in the Hampshire town of Petersfield.
During the summer we shoot outdoors at East Meon & TPS Petersfield, with a 100 yard range available and at TPS indoors with 20 yard range in the Sports Hall in the winter.
We have recurve, barebow, compound and longbow archers shooting with us
All of our shooting sessions are open to club members and visitors from other clubs with the appropriate Archery GB affiliation. We run beginners courses several times a year and we pride ourselves on encouraging archery at all levels.
Get into Archery
Beginners courses are the ideal introduction to the sport for
adults. You'll learn all the basics including how to set up, shoot
the bow and score your arrows.

If you have a Team Building event, planning a wedding and
want something differant, why not try Archery. Archery combines
fun and tradition with the great outdoors, under the watchful
eye of our professional instructors, your team will consistently
be sending arrows straight down the range and splicing the
target…with a little practice!

Compete
We host club competitions at Petersfield Archery.
We hope to run a series of 20yd rounds this indoor season. We will also plan to have a full programme of events in summer 2026 which we will announce in due course.
